Hi, I am Jefferson.

This is my portfolio for the Communication Associate position.

I have a degree in English and Comparative Literature from Columbia, and I’ve always loved multimedia work.

But, I’ve always had a passion for advocacy through communications and multimedia work in non-profit spaces so that more people know what is at stake.

My passion lies in being able to work through design, media, and writing to advocate for communities, both in their narratives and humanitarian needs.

Below, you will see some of my works.

Communications and Development at the Korea Society (501(c)(3))

At The Nuclear Age Peace Foundation (501(c)3), advocating for nuclear non-proliferation, victim assistance, and environmental remediation, I wrote, edited, and initiated media campaigns for a NAPF/RTT, which includes our podcast that still runs today.

At The Columbia Daily Spectator, we honed in on issues surrounding our Morningside Heights campus. I co-designed a story that won the SJP Mark of Excellence Awards

As part of my research project in French Polynesia through the Columbia K=1 Center for Nuclear Studies, I filmed and produced a short documentary on music and nuclear/environmental justice.

At the Columbia Pops Orchestra, I designed and coordinated its concert and member outreach programs.
